Primary working relationships: Chris and Nikki Uglow and the Oriel team. The successful candidate will oversee and help with our existing projects and events and will strategize with the team to help identify new ways to invest into the lives of children and young people across the South West.
Summary of main purpose of the job:
Co-ordinate and support the planning and implementation of themed outreach children’s and youth events to share the hope of the Gospel. This will include hosting, leading games, activities, workshops, small groups and front-led talks.
To lead, support and engage with children and young people through our outreach projects such as The Pulse Bus and our after-school club, The Shake Shop.
Facilitate termly Christian Youth gatherings for Church Youth groups across North Cornwall to gather together in worship, prayer and in community.
Support administration, including writing letters to Churches, Supporters and using Charitysuite to manage bookings, and communication with Schools and local Churches.
Assist with fundraising, including collating information, writing of grants and bids and coordinating an annual fundraising and partnership event.
Communication with Church Partners, supporting the delivery of Church presentations and the relationship between Churches and the ministry. (This may require having the availability to work some Sundays in the year).

Experience using Canva, Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, Powerpoint & Word and/or any experience in editing, publishing or graphic design. We often produce flyers, posters, food & drink menus for The Shake Shop, videos and presentations to accompany talks, workshops and our Schools work.

Commitment to Christianity and are a practising Christian with a willingness and ability to bring ministry to the community.
Experience of organising community activities and/or events.
Ability to prioritise, organise and manage your own workload.
Good communication skills and can develop effective working relationships.
A good level of English – both spoken and written - and numeracy at GCSE level or equivalent
Compassionate and will demonstrate a high level of safeguarding knowledge and practice.
