Pulse Bus - This One’s For The Kids
For over 10 years Oriel Ministries has been on mission across Devon and Cornwall to address the needs of our young people, giving them a sense of hope, purpose and self-worth. Continuing with this same mission, we have launched a mobile youth centre in the form of The Pulse Bus as an incredible resource to outreach to young people in our communities.
The Shake Shop
The Shake Shop is open every Thursday for School Years 3-6, from 3.30pm-5pm, where young people can come and grab a deluxe milkshake and a luxurious loft burger, play Xbox, table tennis, air hockey, games and lots more! Our Youth Workers come alongside the kids to help them with any needs they may have, whether they need to feel heard, understood or just need a safe space to hangout with their friends.
Overflow - Lets dig a little deeper
Overflow is a Bible Study group for those who want to explore the Word of God more in-depth. Our purpose is to help young people to understand the relevancy and importance of the Bible today and to encourage transformation by practically applying what we learn.
The Loft - A Drop-in Youth Club
The Loft is open every Tuesday from 3.30pm - 5pm for young people in school years 7-11. It’s a space for games, air hockey, Xbox, pool, table tennis and more! You can enjoy yummy frappuccino’s, mega shakes, hot chocolates, as well as burgers, chicken nuggets and fries from our Loft Kitchen. It’s a space young people can bring their friends and call it their own.
Four12 - Empowering & equipping young people
Four12’s mission is to journey alongside young people to empower and equip them with the truth and love of Jesus. We are passionate about seeing young people become disciples of Jesus through teaching the Word of God, encouraging friendships and equipping them to actively live out their faith. We have theme nights every week, from Pancake Making, Parties or Games Nights- we love Jesus and we also love FUN!
LED Schools Team – Impacting Your Local Schools
The L.E.D Schools Team is a new project birthed from the Christian Music Band L.E.D. Although the L.E.D Band are no more, our mission to reach young people in schools is ever-present. The Schools initiative aims to work and partner with local schools to bring hope to the next generation of young people by bringing interactive assemblies and a 10 Session plan with the Pulse Bus. Under the umbrella of the L.E.D Schools Team, in the future we hope to bring workshops to schools like music, sport, and activities to share encouraging messages around identity with the young people.
